Do I have to pre-register in your system for tryouts ?

Yes.  It is critical that you pre-register for the correct tryout session in our system.  If you do not register we have no way to communicate with you after tryouts have concluded.   There is no fee to participate in our tryouts. 

What is my child's age bracket for tryouts ?

All players should attend their “age appropriate” tryout session.  All teams will be formed based on the U.S. Soccer mandated CALENDAR YEAR system.

Can my child double-card with another soccer club ?

No

Does my child have to attend all tryout sessions ?

We strongly encourage players to attend all tryout sessions for their age group.  As long as you attend at least one session, you will be evaluated for placement in our program.

What are the different levels of programs within World Class ?

World Class FC - New York
Elite Level
Premier Level
Classic Level
Development Level

 

If I register and pay for OMM Soccer's recreation program and then receive an invitation to join a World Class FC travel team, do I lose any money ?

No.  If you pay a registration fee to OMM Soccer and then receive an invitation to join World Class FC, you will receive a full credit for the money paid to OMM Soccer against your World Class FC tuition. 

If I attend tryouts for the new Orangetown tier of the travel program and do not receive an invitation to the team can I play with OMM Soccer ?

Yes.  Any Orangetown resident that does not receive an invitation to the World Class FC program is guaranteed a roster position with OMM Soccer.
