Congratulations to our 13G ECNL Squad on their performance at the Eclipse Select Challenge Cup tournament in Chicago. 

The girls are at it again !   In a stormy Illinois weekend the girls played at the highest level against some of the top teams in the nation. The pool consisted of 24 teams split among 6 brackets. During bracket play the 99s were undefeated and did not give up any goals while scoring 12 goals. On day one they met up with TFA Elite from Ohio (3-0) and Sting 00 Rezaie from Texas (4-0). In final bracket match on day two the 99s played against Carmel United from Indiana (5-0).

In the quarterfinals, the 99s met up with the Top Hat 18 Gold girls from Georgia. In what is becoming a great rivalry where great soccer is played the 99s won in overtime by 1-0 giving them a spot in the semifinals against Vardar from Michigan.  On day three, the 99s prevailed over Vardar by a score of 3-1 leading to a face off with the Michigan Hawks in the championship fixture. The final game did not disappoint, the two teams went back and forth with the lead, while excellent soccer kept the huge crowd highly entertained.  The Hawks eventually won the game by a score of 3-2.

Six games in three days, 18 goals for, 4 against, well done girls!
